The venue is nestled in the hills of the Elan Valley, surrounded by natural woodland and a beautiful mountain stream running alongside the lodge. This is a wonderful grounding setting for you to enjoy the yoga retreat with daily sessions of Asana, pranayama, sound practices, meditation and relaxation. You will have free time during the weekend to explore the beautiful surroundings of the Elan Valley.
The lodge was originally the School for the Valley and has been converted into 5* accommodation. All are able to have single rooms unless you wish to share with friends. All rooms are en-suite. All meals & refreshments are included.
Michele creates a space where it's safe to practice yoga physically, mentally and in a spiritual way.
a) physically - because she's such an experienced teacher she can adapt postures and asana practice to all levels and abilities. She will challenge you to do the best you can but will never take you beyond what you're capable of, although you may find yourself being surprised as to how far you can go.
b) mentally - her classes and retreats are fun! Everyone is welcomed, questions are encouraged and you come to know your fellow students as friends.
c) spiritually - Michele treats the spiritual aspects of yoga with a light touch. Don't take that to mean they are overlooked; they are certainly there but they are brought in at a level that is appropriate for the particular group she is taking.
Every retreat I've been to with Michele has been unique and every one I've come away with so much more than I envisaged.
